Consultation of a sunny apartment on top of one of Lisbon's highest hills
This project focused on maximizing the sense of space while introducing a vibrant, confident use of colour. As a creative herself, the client embraced bold choices from the very beginning, allowing us to develop a lively and expressive palette throughout the home.
A striking yellow colour block runs from the entrance along the corridor, framing the doors to both rooms and extending into the dining area. This gesture gives the open-plan space a new sense of dimension and continuity. Yellow was chosen deliberately for this zone, as it receives the least natural light, instantly bringing warmth, energy, and life to the area.
In the remainder of the open space, a warm white was selected to create balance and allow the architecture to breathe, while a green sofa adds depth and a natural accent.
The main bedroom was designed as a cocooning retreat, enveloped in a blue, colour-drenched scheme that promotes calm and rest.
In the kitchen, the colour choices were inspired by the surrounding landscape. Greens echo the nearby trees, while terracotta tones reference the rooftops beyond, creating a seamless connection between interior and exterior.
